Spinaker – A. I. am here
The Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Architecture of the PBS Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology carries out the project titled „A.I. am here – Digitization of processes as an opportunity for sustainable development in the construction industry” (application no. PPI / SPI / 2020/1/00009). The project is in the framework of the NAWA Spinaker program – Intensive International Education Programs. The project manager is Jarosław Górecki, PhD. In total, 150 hours of classes in 2 rounds (2 × 75 hours) are planned.
The project is under the patronage of the Mayor of Bydgoszcz.
National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) works for the internationalization of Polish science by supporting and stimulating international research cooperation and academic exchange. The agency aims to strengthen scientific excellence, internationalize Polish universities and scientific institutions, as well as to promote Poland - its language and culture in order to build the image as a country offering interesting educational and research opportunities.
The "Spinaker - Intensive International Education Programs" (IIEP) program is a new proposal in NAWA's offer for Polish universities and research units, which is a response to the needs of these institutions in the field of creating intensive international education programs that can be implemented remotely.
The "Spinaker" program meets these needs, enabling the creation of intensive international education programs that can be implemented also in the remote or stationary and remote formula, the so-called blended learning. "Spinaker" is to make the curriculum offer of Polish universities and research units that conduct didactics more attractive and develop, and contribute to the increase of interest in their educational offer among foreign students and doctoral students.
A.I. am here - Digital-based business as a path for the sustainable building sector is an Intensive International Education Program designed for students from abroad implemented in the summer school formula. The amount of financing allocated to the implementation of this project under the "Spinaker" Program is PLN 688,800.
